Know When To Take Action

Nationwide occupational health and legal guidance to help employers address workplace hazards, navigate OSHA matters and respond when accidents happen.

An Occupational Health Professional and Attorney Serving Employers Nationwide

Brian Yellin, an occupational health professional and practicing attorney, leads Action Level Safety and Health Law, a nationwide firm. As a nationwide occupational safety and health attorney, Brian advises commercial businesses and governmental agencies on a wide range of workplace safety hazards, OSHA inspections and citations, and defenses following on-the-job accidents. We offer free consultations, so call us today to talk through your situation.

Our name comes from a term used in OSHA’s health standards. OSHA is the federal agency that sets and enforces workplace safety and health rules, and an action level is the point at which an employer must start taking protective steps, such as monitoring worker exposure to a hazard. That early, practical mindset shapes how we work with clients. Brian is both an occupational health and safety professional and a practicing lawyer, so he reads an exposure report or an accident scene the way an occupational health professional does, then applies the law to what he finds.

How We Can Help

We work with private sector employers and government agencies on a wide range of occupational health and safety matters, including, exposure monitoring, workplace inspections and audits, developing and implementing safety and health programs, responding to workplace accidents, conducting training, and guiding employers through the OSHA inspection process.  Additionally, Brian Yellin may qualify as a testifying expert on occupational health and safety and OSHA matters.

Occupational Safety and Health Law

OSHA can inspect a workplace, issue citations, and propose penalties. We represent employers through that process, from responding to an inspection to contesting a citation, and we explain which health and safety rules apply to your operations.

Workplace Hazard Consulting

Some hazards show up on a walkthrough. Others appear only through exposure monitoring or the review of occupational health records. We consult with employers on occupational safety and health hazards and explain what the law requires so you can address problems before an OSHA inspector or an injury does.

Workplace Accident Defense

After a work-related accident, your organization may face an OSHA investigation resulting in costly citation penalties and hazard abatement.  We defend companies in these situations, working with you to gather the facts, respond to regulators, and protect your position.
